Tinseltown is an interesting place...

Disneyland

Disneyland!

Ever since I was a little girl it was a dream of mine to go to Disney World. I have an obsession with Disney stuff and I truly admire Walt Disney. I can’t picture what the world would be like without a little bit of magic. I have not been able to visit Disney World yet, but when I took a trip to California I just knew that I had to visit Disneyland. After all this was Walt’s first Disney Park.

I had so much fun that day; I felt like a kid again. And best of all, my friends and I got in for free. This young guy who worked there offered us a free entrance, and us being New Yorkers we just thought scam. But the kid was real, so it was a great deal and an awesome start to a day filled with magic. The park was everything I expected and more, I had so much fun, I am not a rides person, so I just observed. At the end of the night, however, I got on Space Mountain… I figured since I had already done it in Paris, why break the tradition? It was the best, we went on it twice!

The dream lives on...
I can happily say that I have visited the one that started it all, the original Disney Park! And I can honestly say, that it did not disappoint, I loved it!

There really is no feeling that compares to what you feel when you step into a perfect colorful world. There was nothing that I did not like about this visit, it was truly spectacular; from the rides to the parades to the food and shopping.

It took us a while to get there because our hotel was so far from everything and the park is not exactly too close to L.A. But once we got there, we did not want to leave... cannot wait to go back!
Fun at its best
So here is the deal, once you are done with fairytales and princesses you can move your way down to Disney's California Adventure! It's for more grown up kids and the rides are way more exciting... for those who enjoy that.

The entrance to the park is generally free if you buy the Disneyland ticket. I love that it spelled out C-A-L-I-F-O-R-N-I-A when you first enter it.

It holds many of the original paintings of many Disney animated films; here you can find the Tower of Terror and Stitch. A great restaurant named after the Little Mermaid, where you can meet all the princesses!!

I think this has been, by far, my favorite Disney experience!
