Packed and ready... I think...
June 7, 2006
So here we go: Although I'm not actually leaving for Washington untill tuesday, I am going to Denmark tomorrow, so I have now packed my backpack, which resulted in the butterflies fluttering in my stomach to a degree that made me dizzy..!
The rest of my stuff I'm desperately trying to force into my very limited-size luggage, how on earth I've accumulated this much crap, I have no idea (actually I think I do...)
It's very odd to leave everything here in London, but it's great that I have my travels to look forward to. I can't believe my last months in London has passed so quickly, I feel like I should have spent my time better, but I guess it's always like that when you have no more time left in a certain place. I'm sure I'll feel constant regret the next 2 months, always wanting to see more-more-MORE, and not having the time.
Well, I won't worry about that now, It's just going to be so great to have a few days in Roskilde with my mum, see my sister Ina and hear about her and her boyfriend's 2 months in South America. Must have been so amazing.
Fortunately the summer has finally arrived in London, so tonight I'll spend my last evening here grilling on the roof, and then hopefully spend the night up there as well, in my sleeping bag under the stars, taking in London's buzz with all my senses...
