The end of august Sic & I went to Barcelona. Walking days through Barca was like walking in a fairy tale. Gaudi rules Barcelona, that's for sure! We visited Casa Batllo and Casa Milo, the most expressive of his buildings. Don't buy tickets for La Sagrada Familia unless you want to sponsor it. The best view is from the parkside and around. The inside of the artwork is "under construction" 'till 2020! We tasted lots of tapas, paella & sangria. A very good dinertip is Tenorio at Pg de Gracia.

Top 10 things to do & see in Barcelona:

1. Casa Batllo (House designed by Gaudi at the Passeig de Gracia)

2. Casa Milo (House designed by Gaudi at the Passeig de Gracia)

3. Go eat some tapas in one of the many Spanish Tapas Bars in El Borne

4. Go shopping at Passeig de Gracia

5. Make a few hours walk at La Rambla, the most crowded & nicest street in Barca

6. Parc Guell, parc designed by Gaudi

7. Restaurant Tenorio for a very delicious (but cheap!) dinner

8. Take a train (tren) to Calella (about 50 minutes) for a day on the beach.

9. Visit the Sagrada Familia, but don't go in! Tickets are expensive (€ 8,-) and you won't see a thing.

10. Walk beneath Arc de Triomf
