7:47am flight from La Guardia on a Saturday was a rare breeze this round. 15 min to airport, 10 minutes in security and we were at the gate with almost 2 hours to wait! Our first time landing in Denver it was strangely desolate and a lot of tired looking brush. A generally older, grumpy looking crowd and not much exciting fare at the airport made this stopover a "skip next time" notation in the travel book. But United was prompt, gate was ready right away and we were ten min ahead of schedule. Terminals were enormous and clean, just not much nice stuff within the walls or outside the windows.

San Jose Del Cabo airport was typical, small, enormous line but it moved quick. They probably processed 500 people in about 45 minutes with no fuss.

Shocked and disappointed at the redneck jerks that come to Mexico complaining and hollaring like they own the place and making all Americans look bad. Lot of weird people in their late 50's and up from Oregon no less, surprisingly uncultured and still looking to party hardy at that age. Makes me surpremely sad to know that they like to be such terrible visitors and that the population from another country is tasked with feeding their fat faces and cleaning up their sloppy messes. You could also see the impression it makes when resort staff members act loud and rude and boisterous in hopes of mimicking their customers.

Due to the nice 3 hour flights and 3 hours of sleep the night before, felt more energized than usual on our arrival date and we ended up rinsing off, walking around the resort for a few minutes and then taking the $5 hotel shuttle to the Marina to explore and grab dinner.

The Hacienda Encantada is great. It's a little more chaotic than some of the resorts that we've stayed at, and definitely not as refined and professional but they are all so nice, the grounds are kept up perfectly, and so far the food is very good. It doesn't compare to the Vidanta resort quality, but it's got it's own special flare and vision.

My god, the Marina was such a beautiful sight at dusk as well.  It would have been an ideal romantic evening walk if not for all the peddlers trying to sell their tour packages. Marcel and I took some back alleys after getting accosted over a dozen times.
