My Motel 6 in Woods Cross

It had been a long day that started with looking around Thanksgiving Point in Lehi in the morning, which was well worth the effort, and walking 7 or 8 miles all over Salt Lake City.  I enjoyed all I did in Salt Lake.  It was neat going to Temple Square and seeing the missionaries there with flags on their nametags and trying to guess where they were from (I admit I did not recognize the flag for Madagascar).  The walk up the hill to the state capitol is daunting but the building and its surroundings were well worth it.  By the time I got back to the car, I was very ready to find a hotel and my back was screaming for a pain pill.  I like to try and find hotels in new towns where I have not stayed yet; but at this point I was ready for the first affordable place I found.  I saw a sign for a Motel 6 (always affordable) and exited to get a room.  I thought I was still in Salt Lake City but as it turned out I had crossed into Woods Cross so that made another town I slept in.  There was a decent Mexican Restaurant next door too.  Nice young woman at the desk at the Motel 6.
