I enjoy doing what is called "Photoshopping". This blog and all of the entries will be of original photos and then results of what I have done. I do it all for fun and if you'd like me to do one (or more) for you, just let me know. Enjoy! :)

Istanbul

Last November Giovanni (giotravel) took a nice Mediterranean Cruise aboard the Celebrity Summit and had eight ports of call.  It looked like a wonderful cruise and he got lots of great pictures.

One that really popped out in my eyes was in the port of Istanbul, Turkey.  He had a wonderful shot across the bay looking at the city on the far side.  But there was a barge right in the middle of the foreground that detracted from the shot.

So I called the barge company and told them to move that barge out of the bay until Giovanni got his shot and then they were allowed back in to do their work.

And while I was at it I took the liberty of brightening up the colors just a tad.

Hope you like it.

You forget how much the barges and smog and power lines mess up the world until you see the X_ed pictures without them...
