This is the One-Minute-Sculpture Gene made at the Erwin Wurm Exhibit.
Recently, Gene (genetravelling) who is in Vienna, made a visit to the Museum of Modern Art and the Erwin Wurm exihibit. He got a couple of very interesting shots while there and shared them with us in his blog.
For those of you who are not familiar with Erwin Wurm, he was born in 1954 in Vienna, Austria. I guess you could say that he is a modern artist who thinks well out the conventional box. He doesn’t work with paint and brush, but with ideas and thoughts that he brings to life in different ways by use of photos, objects, things, sculptures, and even people. And the viewers can even be the people of his work. Wurm calls them One Minute Sculptures.
I took one of Gene’s photos where he had put himself into the sculptures and just continued the silliness. Let us know what you think.
