Her shot of the colosseum.

I got a message recently from Adrian (hancock826) asking me about a picture she had taken in Italy.  She had a great panoramic shot of the Colosseum and wanted my advice on how to get rid of a couple of white vans that rather detracted from the photo.  She is quite familiar with photoshopping skills herself, so it was just a matter of finding out what I would do to rid the area of those pesky vans.  I told her to send me the original and I’d see what I could do.  My first thought was to run extra virgin olive oil over the picture, seeing we were in Italy, and see if the oil would make things so slick they would just slide off, but then I looked again and noted several people, other nice carriages and horses and thought better of that.  I had to use an eye dropper and be very careful how I administered the oil. After a few drops, the vans began to slip along with a couple of people standing close by.  Several more drop of the best extra virgin olive oil and those two vans just dropped right off the edge of the photo.   I spent a little while soaking up the olive oil when I was done using very good sour dough bread and I was finished.  What do you think?
