JR offices at Kansai Airport

This was our last morning and we walked from our hotel to the Shin-Imamiya Station which served the Nankai Line which was much cheaper than the Hakura Line and we did not have to travel to Osaka station first. The hotel had dicounted tickets for the Nankai Line so we took the train which took about 45 minutes. At the airport wqe had to get va refund on our ICOCA cards so we joined the line at the JR offices and received our credit but we had to pay a 200 yen service fee for each card. Check in for our Jetstar flight was quick and eficient, and in fact the plane took off 10 minutes early and arrived in Manila 45 minutes ahead of schedule. I was a littl upset when i went through security as i had forgotten to put my 3 small bottles of sake in my check-in bags and i had to remove them from my carry on and hand them over as the bottles were not allowed on the planbe.

Our last meal in Japan
I did manage to drink a half bottle of sake before disposing of them. There were many duty free shops but i have no idea of the prices but i did not mind a couple of free shots of Johnny Walker Blue and another type of whisky. We still had plenty of yen leftover, in fact we had 110,000 yen because we had overestimated our expenses. We had our last rice and shrimp tempura at a very reasonable price, almost the same as we would pay in the cities. I was surprised how cheap it was, and it tasted really good. We then purchased a couple of bottls of water to take on the Jetstar flight to Manila. Fortunately , due to the sake i managed to sleep all the way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Japan, the people were polite and friendly, the cities were clean and easy to get around. The JR Pass was an excellent deal, there were some beautiful attractions and best of all , it was much cheaper than i had predicted.

Here are some photos from our trip.,
