A Night in Budva

Through crowds of people from one street to another I noticed big flags. Taking a better look I recognized groups dressed in folk costumes. Behind them walked passersby who took photos of them. They proudly posed in their national clothes. I also joined them to a terrace where they had an improvised stage. First was presented a group from Bulgaria, then Greece, then again Bulgarian, Lithuanian and Croatian and then again Bulgarian, each time with 3-4 dances. It looked like we were watching a Bulgarian show all the time. I was waiting to see a group of Polish children, but could not wait any more. Behind the public was standing a group from Latvia and another Croatian that looked very anoyed with so long waiting for their performance. There was none Montenegrin, Serbian or Bosnian group. It was a Bulgarian night, others did not have a chance.  Many people left in the middle of the show searching for another amusement, which Budva had plenty to offer.

This looked fantastic...and it was lovely the dancers posed for pictures (and quite nicely!)
