Mount Hananipa (on top of the fjords)

The weather forecast was showed sun with only a few clouds and I just had to go to Mount Hananipa. Mount Hananipa is sitated 714meters above the Sørfjord , which isnt a spectacular fjord, but the views are nonetheless stunning. You can drive upto 350meters and have to walk from there. To the place with the best view its around 30mins walk, but if you want to do the tour of all the adjacent mountains it will take around 6hours, but its surely worth it as some of the views are stunning. Just look at the view from both Mount Hananipa and Mt. Krånipa.

The hike is suited for beginners as well as intermediates. If you feel adventurous you can walk from Krånipa to Mt. Gulfjellet (999meters) which is nearby. The trail from Gullbotn (ask the locals) can be pretty steep.

Mount Hananipa is situated at Trengereid. Serviced by Local trains to Voss 41kr (exit at Trengereid) or busses (exit at Trengereid, no voice anouncements so ask the driver)

From the Trengereid Bus stop where highway 7 and E39 forks, drive towards Trengereid (down towards the fjord). Follow this road downwards for 600m and exit right towards "Skulstad 2,5". Follow the narrow paved road upwards (2,4km) to the Skulstad parking area. The parking is just below the upper houses.

From the Trengereid Train station just walk the up the road and continue for around 800meters before you see the "Skulstad 2.5" sign. Then follow the same dirrections above. It takes around 45minutes to walk from the train/bus station to the hike.
