Our last Cabo sunrise

I'm not going to fuzz long about what we saw on our way to the airport. I'll let the pictures do the talking. I'm also adding a drone video I found once we got back home, of the aftermath of tropical storm Lidia. It was only 10mph slower than a catagory 1 hurricane. It dumped around 50 inches of water on Baja California Sur and parts of the mainland. It was slow moving. Rain for nearly 48hrs. 5 people died. 200,000 tourists were stranded while the airport was closed.
We made the right call by getting a private shuttle to get us to the airport with plenty of time to spare. We were there early enough to not have to worry about missing out on going home.

I have to say Alaska Airlines were nice and waived our baggage fee the day we flew out. We were not affected by the airport closure, and flew out on our scheduled flight home.
