Visited Manila and Subic for business. Stayed at the Shangri-La in Manila and the Lengend International Resort in Subic. The City of Manila (Filipino: Lungsod ng Maynila), or simply Manila, is the capital of the Philippines and one of the municipalities that make up Metro Manila. The city is located on the eastern shore of Manila Bay on Luzon, the country's largest island.

Shangri-La Hotel

Makati Shangri-La, Manila is located at the centre of Manila's most prestigious business, shopping and entertainment district. Just 20 minutes away from the international airport. This is a great hotel to stay at while in Makati. This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I was lucky enough to get a suite at the regular price. The staff are friendly and polite and go way beyond in making sure your stay is enjoyable. It was great walking out the front door and seeing a K9 handler that was there when I visited in 2005, and she recogized me. I can't wait to stay at this hotel again.
