The last night that Gemini, Sebastian, Cedric and I would be together today so we made a plan to picnic in Kings Park and then later onto a Hawaian themed bar to meet Neil and his new girlfriend Sally. Gemini and I met at the Gallery of Western Australia first to see a photography exhibition, but as it was already getting late we decided to congregate at Queens Park instead at the other end of Hay St where Neil lives. The park, while not as rugged and wild as Kings Park, was beautiful being carefully landscaped and Gem and I had a good time in the fading sunlight and the lengthening shadows over the lake. The boys met us around 7pm and we stayed in the park till about 9pm till Neil and Sally had finished dinner, so we all walked up to Victoria Avenue to the Hawaian Hula Bula bar. The bar was as you'd expect; lots of woven furniture in the bar area, animal striped seats, palm fronds and shrunken heads. We couldn't really afford to drink there on our budgets, but the cocktail menu looked awesome. We really didn't need it by that point anyway! So after lots of photos and hugs we finally had to say goodbye as Gem, Cedric and Sebastian had to head off to their hostel. It's been great knowing them for the past few weeks, and though the boys have driven me crazy at times, they've been a great laugh. RIP Fantastic Four.
