Number of days on the road: 13. Number of states driven through: 13. Number of miles traveled: over 5700. Number of speeding tickets: 3. The cost of driving cross country: priceless! My cousin and I "took the long" way so that we can see America. Here is my retrospective of that adventure which I would like to share with the TravBuddy world.

There's No Place Like Home!

After hanging out with Mar's cousins and friends, we left Las Vegas in the late afternoon so we wouldn't be driving during the hottest part of the day. The drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles was very familiar to me since I have driven it many times. But this time around, there was an air of accomplishment...I freakin' drove across the United States! As I parked my car in the driveway of my parents' house, I thanked God that my car made it all the way through the trip without incident. Home at last!!!
