We took the US-287 N out of Wichita Falls and headed towards Amarillo. The road was for the most part empty...or so I thought. Apparently the warning of not to speed in north west Texas that Drew gave me back in Fort Worth went through one ear and out the other. Texas Highway Patrol pulled me over near the town of Childress. I got the standard..."Do you know how fast you were driving?" and "Why were you driving so fast?". I was clocked going 90 mph in a 75 mph zone. Jeez...didn't know my beat up Toyota Corolla could roll that fast! What a way to get my first speeding ticket?!?
