Number of days on the road: 13. Number of states driven through: 13. Number of miles traveled: over 5700. Number of speeding tickets: 3. The cost of driving cross country: priceless! My cousin and I "took the long" way so that we can see America. Here is my retrospective of that adventure which I would like to share with the TravBuddy world.

Completing Our Cross Country Adventure...

Mar's flight back to Hawaii was later on in the day, so I figured to make our cross country adventure complete, we had to touch the waters of the Pacific Ocean.  So we braved morning traffic westbound and ended up in Santa Monica just south of the pier.  It was a gloomy day but we didn't care...we freaking drove cross country!
