I'm counting to the day on departure, it has been very hectic lately. With bank holidays in Belgium (long weekends) it is very busy for us. This is the time we mostly go on European trip, we already done four trips this year . We're just back from England, my suitcase still unpacked from the trip as I haven't had the time. I took another suitcase and packed for Myanmar

May and December we mostly travel outside Europe (why this month?) because there's a few bank holidays in between where I take less vacation leave from work. Why Myanmar? that is a good question. We booked always our flight 6-9 months in advance which is became a habit to me.  I mostly arrange everything especially choosing a destination. The air ticket on this trip was book last year in August 2016, as I have a long list of destination it was a tough choice.

Myanmar is in my list recently, I wasn't really enthusiastic about it, as it is everyone's destination lately. But sooner or later I have to go there lol. Having sign up to Skyscanner I regularly receive airlines promotion and Emirates has a very tempting offers. Thus, I check the dates of departure with a few night stopover in Dubai, I couldn't believe what I see or maybe I'm wrong. So I start all over again entering departure date with two night stay in Dubai, I can't believe if it was a real price, our flight to Dubai is free. We been to Dubai a couple of times already but is always nice to keep coming back. Without hesitation I book the flight. It feels good to get away for awhile. It took me a week arranging our accommodations. I'll have a lot of writings to do on this trip as we stay in different hotels every night lol.

We have our flight from Brussels to Dubai in the afternoon, thank goodness it wasn't so early, unlike to other trips we had we hardly sleep. We live in West Flanders- it takes more than an hour to Brussels airport by car and two hour by train. I don't like going with car because it happened once we stuck on traffic and I get so nervous thinking we're going to miss our flight. Since then, we always asked my father in law to bring us to the train station. Were at ease by train, it goes straight to Brussels Zaventem Airport - train station in Brussels Airport is on the underground -1 level. We travel light, each of us carry a small luggage, so it wasn't a big deal

As always we are 2-3 hours too early. I always said, better too early than too late. We already check - in online, so we only had to dropped our bag on the counter. Travelling in weekend is very busy, the queues to security control is so slow. By the time passing through security it takes almost 30-45 minutes. Inside the airport plenty of duty free shops, but is not cheap. And if you look around you maybe find some promotion items and that can be a good deals. Brussels airport has free wifi, but can't be good enough for visitors either you pay or go for a dodgy internet. For local people we had a good access to free wifi as we're client to biggest network. The free wifi keeps me busy while waiting at departure gate
