Hi everybobdy,

Here in beautiful Lund, the home of one of Sweden most prestigous and oldest universtys. The town is a bit like oxford back home, lots of cobbled streets and students riding around on bikes.

Slightly eventful arrival in to Sweden. Minor mis-caclucation of fuel consupmtion (no fuel guage of course!) meant that half way across the Oersund Crossing (Big bridge from Denmark to Sweden) JP's bike started spluttering. Not an ideal place to break down (windy and rainy)! Managed to make it to the top of the bridge before coasting down the hill to the toll both. Fortunately the kind lady opened a shortcut route to the nearest village to find a petrol station just around the corner. Some how managed to fill up 17.5 litres in just a 17 litre tank! Still saved a few bob by not filling up in expensive Denmark!

The bets are getting slightly more daunting on tour.

It started with lunch on the danish currency with JP assuring himself that we were using euro just a few months ago. Needless to say by dinner CM was still waiting for lunch! To make things a little more interesting, CM went double or nothing on a motorbike mechanics/design with a little extra of a photo shoot with pants down sitting on the bike. Photos will let you know who lost....

Weather was 5 degrees last night, first cold evening this year. Luckily spent the night in a 1940's old train carriage converted into a youth hostel. Apparantly 200km north it was freezing, which is where we are heading today.

Missing you and will send photos soon,

JP and CM!
