Guys, HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Missing you all. Hope life is good back home, not too boring etc.

Rapid fire blog today.

In Vilnius, capital of Lithuania. Vilnius has a very pretty historic centre but is pretty ugly in the suburbs.  Lithunania was the first of the baltic states to demand indepence from the soviet union in the early 90's. It's not as well developed as Estonia but is definitely an up-and-coming place. Things are ridiculously cheap here. A double at our hostel (although really it's a student dorms most of the time) is just 18 euro! Good for the budget after a bit of a blow out in Russia. Why are we bothering camping!??!!

Have really been enjoying the baltic states in general. The "off-piste" roads are the most fun. Very few cars, lots of beautiful quaint villages. Lot's of pine forests. And no one speaks english. Problem is keep accumulating random currencies. Wallet now contains at least 6 different currencies and can't work out which notes are for where. Also have a smattering of words from about 5 different languages floating around in our heads. Envitably leads to embarrassment!

On to 'lakes district' in Poland then Gdansk - we're the first shots of WWII were fired. Thanks Jakub if you read this. Then Bettines and Christian in Berlin on Friday. Yeehaa!

Hugs to all,

Photos and more stories coming up soon. JP and CM.
