Swakopmund

This town  has a northern German weather, cold and misty..., and a lot of buildings in Gründerzeit (Victorian) style. 

The quite good Swakopmund Museum has some reconstruction of colonoal interiors and a lot about tranportation and exhibits about Namibias history and ethnologie. Open daily from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm, 25 Namibian $.

Ludwig Koch Street, directly below the Swakopmund Lighthouse. 

If you have time or the weather is bad the National Marine Aquarium is quite good with several sharks and rays and a glas tunnel through the main aquarium. Thuesday to sunday, 10 am to 4 pm, 30 Namibian $.

Swapok street and the southern end of Strand street at the waterfront. 

Intercape goes monday, wednesday, friday and sunday to Windhoek, 5 hours from 210 Namibian $. Monday and friday conects with the bus to Livingstone. Several Minibuses go daily at 7 am, 11 am, 5 pm..... from 140 N $.
