Leaving on 17th July 2007 I headed around the world to visit friends in London, enjoy the amazings city of New York and Washington DC. Then a quick stop in LA on the way home to Melbourne

Arriving Home

After 16.5 hours in the same seat it is always a relief to get off the plane, and to see my father waiting for me at the airport. Always nice to see a friendly face when you get back home.

I have decided that I may be bad luck when I visit cities. London had flooding, New York has storms and flooding and LA had an earthquake.. not bad for four weeks!

I was glad to arrive home again! At least until I remembered that I have to be  back at work tomorrow!!!!

I enjoyed reading your world tour diary. I've been to the cities that you visited and it seems like you hit pretty much all of the key sights. And yes, the New York City accent/delivery can be tough. But then again, I'm from Boston.
