Lefkada: One of the most beautiful Greek Islands!

I must admit I was very lucky growing up in Ioannina, Greece, a town that was less than 2 hours trip away from Lefkada...Such a small distance has given most of Ioanninan families (including mine) the chance to travel quite often to Lefkada -esprecially in summer time- even for a Sunday afternoon swim break! Thus, I have had the chance to explore almost every beach of this beautiful island and make lots of friends! Once you see the photos, there is really not much left to say for the travel experience! I should, though, mention some important infos for those who love summer sports:

Mylos is one of the most famous European destinations for kite surfers, while the beach of Vassiliki is one of the 10 best beaches (and the third best in Europe) worlwide for wind surfing. If you are a fun of sailing, a top route is around Prigiponisisa and its centre, Scorpios (the island of Aristotelis Onassis)!
