Taken at an art gallery in the Strip District. I liked the light and shadow.

I meant to drive to the Strip District, but I accidentally took us to Squirrel Hill instead. This proved fortunate, for Squirrel Hill is a very nice area. We walked along one of its main streets and stopped in at several places, including a tea store, a ramen shop (it was my first time having ramen), and another French bakery. In three days I felt that I saw more French bakeries in Pittsburgh than I’ve seen in Washington, DC in the past eight years.
When we first arrived at the counter in the French bakery, the woman who served us immediately asked if we had been on a tour a few days ago. We said we hadn't, and she remarked that there were two people on the tour who looked just like us. We had dopplegangers in Pittsburgh! SFAU and I became excited at this, and we were on the lookout for them throughout the rest of the trip

We finally made it to the Strip District around 3 p.m. and walked around until 5 pm, when most of the shops were closing, then we walked about a mile to Emperio for dinner. Finally, on the way home we stopped at Church Brew Works for dessert.
