I rose early today, then crashed and went back to bed. We had been on the go from morning till night for nearly two days. However, there was so much more we wanted to see, so we persevered.
We had eaten a lot yesterday, so we figured we could skip breakfast. We drove downtown, visited Prantl’s Bakery, which is a very nice place, then walked a mile to the Monongahela Incline. It was partially sunny, so we had a decent view. We walked around Mt. Washington for a while admiring the houses and looking up prices on Redfin. Coming from the Washington, DC area, we were used to outrageous housing prices, so we were pleasantly surprised to see some of them. My friend Rudy drove out to meet us, and together we went to a Tram’s Kitchen, a Vietnamese restaurant. We then went to Randyland, the Bicycle Museum, the Music Museum, Piper’s Pub for dinner, then a movie at the newly opened Alphabet City on the North Side.
