I had luck to stay at the Renaissance hotel in Kuala Lumpur. After nearly 4 weeks of travelling it was good to stay at a noble hotel. They had everything I wanted that (Pool, fitness room, couple of nice restaurants.) In the evenings a couple of live bands playing (piano, singer ...) not the best but still. Live is live :-)
Breaky was great there, they had everything especially nice bread – and after Australia I really missed good bread - but with additional 10 Euros per person a bit pricy.
It was the best Renaissance hotel I have been to. I can remember others which were not that special (The one in Karlsruhe (Germany) was very boring).
