The Jacobite

We head to the train station to board the Jacobite and hide through the Scottish Highlands on a beautiful Locomotive. Time to get office the bus and ride through this amazing land. We were suppose to ride the actual train used in the Harry Potter movie series except it had to have some engine work and would be off the tracks for several months. We did however get to ride in some of the carriages used in the films. The view out the windows are amazing. We are in the regular carriages our way up to Mallaig. We stopped in Glenfinnan before heading to Mallaig. We were able to get off and wonder around the train station. There was a beautiful little cafe housed in a train car. There was a female bagpiper playing for tips. We have a scottish news crew board to shot a piece about the tour group and it's trips. (the video was on YouTube but they have taken it off.. Boo to YouTube). Soone we are back on our way. We head north across the Glenfinnan Viaduct. We crawl through the hills toward the ocean. out the window we see people standing along on hills watching the train go by. You can see the crystal blue water along that is caressing the shore of scotland. We arrive at this fishing town of Mallaig.
