I find Houston, the nation's 4th largest city, to be a great adventure. The blogs included here share some of the trips I have taken with family and friends.

Home of the Astro's

We drove by and got out and took some photos in front of Minute Maid Park. There were no games yet, so we opted for the outside tour.

Great retreat in the city
This is a great hotel that makes you feel like you are at the beach, but right in the city. It is very close, actually right behind, the galleria. There are other hotel properties all around and so you have a sense of community. Everything in this hotel is really great. I have really only saw a couple of drawbacks to this property and that is they don't have a pool of jacuzzi and they don't serve a free breakfast. Minor to most, but I like to wind down in the hot water. We did solve this problem by walking around to a sister property, the StayBridge Suites and enjoyed the amenities there. We also took part in their free breakfast. Oh, please don't tell anyone we did that.
