Animal Kingdom

Our first Counter service meal at Disney, Well for counter service is was not to bad, BBQ Chicken, Ribs and Fries. But not up to the quality of say the Cheescake factory we went to the previous day. But this is also inside a theme park and is a lot better than the food at Alton Towers (the biggest theme park in the UK).

Our second Theme park was Animal Kingdom. This is a sort of Zoo / Safari Park with a few rides. Having spent a few days in the Kruger and Pillansberg Parks in South Africa, the main ride "Kilimanjaro Safari" seemed very contrived. However the Festival of the Lion King show was fun, and we both really enjoyed the Kali River Rapids, in fact we enjoyed our first ride so much that we asked the Cast member if we could just stay on and as the queue was quite small she said "yes". One of our Disney magic moments.
We also loved the attention to detail, which grabed us as we walked into the Africa zone and noticed how much it actually looked like the Africa we know from Maputo.
