Cheap nite

I took some time out and went to Tasmania for a week. I had not been there for 24 years. It was fantastic and I took quite a few photos and also make a documentary of the trip for my kids. You can see a brief snippet of the film at http://www.val-entertainment.com/movies.html

Cheap nite

If you like to get away from large cities and not be crowded by other tourists, I would recommend coming to Mole Creek and staying at the caravan park there. There is a lovely little creek that flows by the park and the ameneties are fine. You are surrounded by great views of mountains, like much of Tasmania. To stay the night at the caravan park will barely cost you anything. I think I paid $5 for an unpowered site as I was staying in my comfy swag. The Karapooka Caves are only a short drive away. Peaceful and quiet is Mole Creek, but make sure you have some supplies as there is not much in the way of shops here.
