Belize, The Blue Hole

Made my way down to Caye Caulker, an island off the coast of Belize. Its a very laid back backpacker style island, a bit nice than Utila.

The reason I went to the island was to head to the Blue Hole, a famous dive site there. I eventually got to dive it after nearly a week - the dives were postponed for 3 days due to bad weather/me
getting a bit sick (possibly a monster hangover). Anyway its an amazing site, almost a pefect circular sinkhole in the middle of an atoll in the sea. You descend straight down to 40m and swim into the wall (there is a slight overhang) and look at the massive stalactites.
We saw 9 reef sharks on the way down - 3 of them stayed around, circling us as we swam.

After that, it was time to display my bounteous kareoke and dancing skills in Oceanbar and then stumble on the ferry out of there early the next morning, thankful that the 1 barrel rum had not done more damage than it actually did.
