Warsaw, Woo Hoo!!

The first time in Warsaw (or afternoon and evening) was spent looking around and taking some pictures of the views of where I was staying. Then it was off to explore the neighborhood and a little bit of grocery shopping and a wander about the downtown area. Finally it was a dinner at one of the restaurants. The restaurant was a famous and prestigious one during the Communist era, hence the host and hostess wearing the military uniforms. The aspect I was not prepared for - the smoking in the restaurant. I guess I am so accustomed to the smoke-free environment in the States that it was a shock for me. Now I understand why the local lawmakers in the U.S. did what they did!
