3 weeks of Spanish studies and fun in España! I meant to go backpacking in Spain, but it looks like there will be one week of backpacking and 2 weeks of Spanish school in Barcelona. Find here: Tips for backpackers in Spain, Sight seeing in Barcelona, some about my studying experience and my roadtrip through Northern Spain.

Actually - Coma Ruga

The room at the YHA in Coma Ruga

Looking to get out of Barcelona (and hostel maritime) before having to come back for my spanish course, I headed to a small beach town called Coma Ruga. An hour south of Barcelona, it´s a very popular destination for domestic tourism.

¨Cera del estacion¨(close to the station) would usually mean the hostel is 5-10 minutes walk from the train station. In this case it was more like 30 minutes, which isn´t so nice with a back pack on a very hot day.

The Coma Ruga beach is clean and beautiful. The town is full of see front restaurants and has a very romantic atmosphere. However, it is not exactly a weolcoming place for an individual backpacker. For example, the YHA hostel does not have a kitchen, and most restaurants were inclined to let me enter, as I took the space of a single table which could serve 2 persons...

It is a good spot to enjoy the beach and relax, so much different than Barcelona. This time, for 25 euros I got a room by myself with ensuite toilet and shower :)
