I woke up to the news that we were indeed confirmed on an afternoon flight back to Singapore and that arrangements had also been made for my transfer to Manila.  Oh joy!!  After what happened the day before and being made to stay an extra night, I didn't need any more bad news.  With that, I was able to enjoy my lunch, skipping out on breakfast so I could sleep in a little later.  Pretty soon the same people would be packed in a bus to the airport.

We had to go through the same rigid secirity checks again, so I repacked my carry-on luggage the night before to avoid the same inconvenience I experienced previously.  M and I breezed through the airport and made it to the gate hassle-free.  No glitches this time, we were finally going home.  I then turn to face the giant LCD screen on the side which seemed to capture everyone's attention.  The monitor was tuned into the BBC, which was delivering news of Heathrow Terminal 4 currently being closed down due to suspect luggage that was found.  All flights into and out of Terminal 4 were cancelled and I wondered if I would ever get on a plane alive.  But before I could panic once more, we were called to board the plane and were flying over London in no time.
