Poas volcano

The Parque Nacional Volcan Poas is more than the volcano, it has some hiking trails, picnic areas, and beautiful scenery. Of course the main thing is looking into the crater of the Poas volcano. After a brief walk you arrive to the lookout, when we arrived to the Poas volcano it was all covered by clouds. Howeaver after a 5 to 10 minute wait the view was clear and we could see the crater quite clearly. It was an incredible view, you could see the bubbling in the midle of the crater. On the sides, there were sulfur fumes that you could also watch. Going to/from the lookout there were some very nice plants and moss covered rocks.
