The only thing that kept my head above water that afternoon!
We headed out to False River Thursday night after work and got there in about an hour and a half with Mal's precise directions, we went in a 10 foot radius back and forth until finally figuring out which one was the drive way. Mr. David was there, wasted (shocker), so we got down and unloaded the car before hitting the sack. The next morning the weather was pretty droopy, so what else do we do, but go shopping for food! We drove around New Roads and all exclaimed that we would live here someday with out unlimited funds and "Brad Pitt" husbands! We successfully purhcased one of the best 80's movies made, Pretty in Pink, and proceeded home to wait for the weather to pass. As we ate, and ate, and drank drank drank... we took various pictures of ourselves while working on a buzz that I for sure did not know would turn out to feel like DEATH by the end of the day.
Strike it Red!
Mandi and Red and Mallory showed up and the sun was shining by 2pm, so we all got into our bathing suits and took the party barge down to Forrest's camp. And the rest of the day..................... yeah, a blurr until I think I started throwing up on the side of the dock and passed out until Midnight. As for the others, I have no clue what went on! I woke up at midnight and continuted my VERY pleasurable episode of dry heaving until 6:30 in the am. A night to hopefully soon be forgotten, I would like to give a shoutout to Jose Cuervo for that one! The next day we layed out for a while and took the jet ski, then cleaned the camp and headed back. Except for those 12 VERY pleasurable hours, it was a nice relaxing weekend. Can't wait to go back!
