I LOVE MAINE part II

Me and Michelle in the Desert

I love Maine.  I really do.  This was such a bittersweet weekend.  Home to see my friends..... and ran into old HS friends.  But realizing I'm not coming home any time soon.... not to live anyway.  Maine is so beautiful.  I was disappointed I did not get alot of scenic photos.  There was almost no foliage, very disappointing.  But I finally got to see the Desert of Maine.  I found out years ago that the Desert of Maine originally belonged to my great great great (I forget exactly how many greats) grandparents when it turned into a desert.  I grew up only a few miles from there but never went.  So this time I decided to go.  It was pretty cool.  Of course we went to LL Bean, I had to stock up for the move to Colorado.  Hung out in the Old Port Friday night and a bit of Sunday.  It was way too little time for too much to do and I didnt get to do nearly what I wanted, but I'm so grateful for the weekend I did have.  That is what is great about my job......
