Richmond Park
August 20, 2007
With the fast pace of life in London sometimes you need to get away from the hassel and bussel of things and a good place to unwind and catch you breath is the fantatic Richmond Park. One of the royals parks which is open to the public 7 days a week and is home to around 650 free roaming deer! The park is designated as a national nature reserve (NNR), a site of specia Scientific interest (SSSI) and a Specail Area of Consercation (SAC)
To get to Richmond Park from Central London I would suggest Train from London Waterloo to Putney Station then get on the 74 bus to Roehampton than its a 5 mins walk to Roehampton gate.
To get to Isabella Plantaion you need to walk from Roehampton Gate to Robin Hood Gate, then keep opn walking toward kingston gate, its half way inbetween Robin Hood Gate and Kingston Gate.
