We left LV on the 28th after having some work done on the rig.

4/28 - 240 miles -Our first stop was in Beaver, UT. There was a real nice campground (Beaver Canyon). They had a small family owned Mexican resterant which was very good. Looking out the window the next morning there were two deer grazing in the next campsite.

4/29 - 366 miles -We stopped next in Pocattelo, ID for the next night. We had very nice weather for the drive. It was clear and pleasent all day.

4/30 - 338 miles - We stopped for the night in Helena, MT.

5/1 - 278 miles - We arrived in Lethbridge, AB. The campground here is nice and fairly empty since it is still early in the season. We have done some shopping and taken it easy for a few days

For the first time since we started to travel we were stopped and had the rig searched at the border. They had us pull the gig into a large building with a front and rear garage door. They then had me open all the compartments and put the slides out. We were then asked to wait in a room with some chairs while the went through the rig. It took about 20 minutes and they were finished. Considering this about the 12th time we have crossed it really was not bad.

Our next stop will be Edmonton for about 5 days and then onto Alaska.
