We wanted to walk along the beach before we have dinner at the fisherman. it was another beautiful spring day in CT. the beautiful beach houses with their own boat slips.

When you visit the Esker Point Park Beach you will find that you will have excellent views of the Long Island Sound. This will be something that you will want to take plenty of pictures of. When you visit this beach you will be able to swimming, though there will not be any lifeguards on the beach. You should make sure that if you go swimming that you do know how to swim well. If you or anyone in your group does not know how to swim well, stay in the shallow waters or along the shoreline. That way you will avoid getting hurt or having any problems during your visit to the beach.

There are picnic areas for your enjoyment and a concession stand. Make sure that you take part in a great picnic along the water's edge. It is a very relaxing time to have a picnic and gaze out at the waters. Also, a great book is a good thing to have with you, so that you can read it for awhile, as well as your favorites tunes to listen too. What fun you will have.

The Esker Point Park Beach is located along the Groton Long Point Road and you will want to know that traffic gets heavy during the hot summer days. Be sure that you are prepared to sit in some lines, but once you get there you should be able to find a parking spot. Use a wagon or other item with wheels to help you carry your gear to the beach area, if you have a lot of it. It will be so much easier if you decide to do that.

At the Esker Point Park Beach you will also find that there are trees that provide shelter from the sun when it is really hot. That can be great if you are getting too much sun because you can go and relax under the trees for a while. Don't forget the suntan lotion, the sunglasses and sunhat, to protect yourself from the sun when you are sitting out in it. You don't want a terrible case of sunburn to ruin your whole time for you.
