a sudden decision
October 29, 2003
i quit my long-time job for a year now, and ive been doing basically nothing, its a relief from stressy work and absolutely no day offs and the evil glare of my boss everytime i did mistakes which is almost everytime :D hahaha.
my parent were not happy about it, we had a fight about this incident and they dont want me to bum all over, but i applied to lots of companies and stuff, but no one wants to accept me - i dont know. i dont do good in interviews my friends would say.
but i kinda like living like this, hippie - part time jobs in our village - teaching elementary mathematics, computer operation and english to elementary children in our village - this was the life - i mean i have my own time and basically no one's breathing down my neck like my boss was.
but my parents dont understand this, theyre very old fashioned! and we had a big fight over this and i was fed up im not gonna do the shouting match with my momther because nothing wuld be solved! they were in the living room, and i was in my room, i plan to run away at 25 hahahaha, but damn it, i cant get my big knapsack out of my room withouth them seeing it. and overall the windows were grills, so i cant get the bulky knapsack through. so what i did was throwing all the clothes in the backyard, i left the good ones, i bought the ragged, old but comrfotable shirts i have - i mean i decided to go to my grandmother - so what's the point of bringing nice clothes and shoes if she lives in the province? well--- if i ought to stay forever there, i might as well start feeling the way it is :D
i jumped through our backgate withouth my parents noticing where i was. hehehe. and immediately went to close friend in the village, i tried to sell my mobile to her, damn it, that was very expensive and in such short notice she can only give me 4,000 pesos (65 euros) so i have 65 euros along the way :D.
it was more of an act of i wanted to live independently - away from my parents whom im living for a quarter of my life. i planned to settle in my grandmothers place - as the spanish saying goes "que sera, sera" and serra is my middle name! :D
