Sheradon Hotel in Crystal City: This is what we looked like after being stranded in D.C. while our bags made the trip back to La.

Chipotle, Chipotle, Chipotle.  It seems to be all that Lindsay and Christine talk about!  The best fast food EVER!  We woke up and it was off to Chipotle for lunch.  I ordered the fajita chicken burrito.  It was pretty good but I'm still partial to Juan's Flying Burrito back in Baton Rouge.  But I still give it credit.  After lunch we went back to Lindsays to veg out.  I think we watched everything that they had DVRed for the week, Grey's Anatomy, Top Chef, The Hills, and Dirty Sexy Money.  After our TV marathon we meet up with Lindsay's friend Bob in the apartment complex Buisness Center.  He had cooked a major spread.  Blacked fish, fish tacos, shrimp cooked two ways, fresh pico de galo and fresh mango salsa.  Yummy!  We hung out with the guys in the buisness center watching the football games until 5pm when we were kicked out because it closed.  It was about time for us to head to the airport anyway.

At the airport, we went to the US Airways ticket counter to check in and our flight had been oversold and we were not given a seat number.  The ticket said to proceed to the desk at our gate for our seat assignment.  Okay, so we head to security and to the desk at our gate only to find out that Rachel and I are numbers six and seven in line.  The employees were looking for seven people to volunteer thier seats.  As a volunteer you would recieve a round trip ticket on US Air to anywhere in the continental US, hotel, dinner and breakfast.  If I had a flexible travel schedule, I may have volunteered.  So we waited around for and hour hoping that we would have a seat on the oversold flight only to find out that if they do not get volunteers those without seat assignments automatically become volunteers.  Um, I have work in the morning!  Oh well, you make the best of it, we collected our room, dinner, breakfast and free flight vouchers from the extremely rude airline personel and it was off to the Sheradon Crystal City.  Once there we went to CVS so I could get contact solution because my bags were on their way to New Orleans without me.  We headed back and had dinner and a bottle of wine at the hotel bar.  After dinner we headed up to our rooms to go to bed.  Good Night -Kate
