Never thought rocks were so much fun!

What's the craic, eh?! My 7 days in the land of the Shamrock, Guiness and spectacular scenery! I started off in Dublin then through the West of Ireland. I've tried to recreate some of my moments. Hope you enjoy. Oh, and I kissed the Blarney!!!

Never thought rocks were so much fun!

Our hostel in Kilkenny

The previous night at Kilkenny was a good one. Perhaps because it was our last. We arrived at around 6pm and the walk from where the bus was parked to our hostel was quite a long one! The hostel was piss poor. But we had pizza at an outlet before heading out to a pub till about 1am. After which we hit the street, we even ran into a bloke who used to be in prison and now was a drug dealer.... and he had interesting stories to tell us. It was real fun.

So no surprises than that we woke up on Saturday morning all tired and sleepy. My morning began when Matt (who was sleeping above me) just fell off! He claims that's how he always alights from a bed. Yes, I'm sure!

Anyway we left by 9am and headed to the Rock of Dunamese. This was a nice place. Green fields from afar, really lovely. We spent about one hour here before driving, driving, driving...and coming to Kildare where we had a pub lunch. Matt was happy as some Aussie Rules footie game was coming on TV.

We continued, headed to Glenadalough. Before that we stopped at this beautiful place called the Crann Arsa, this place was filled with wild heather. Looked absolutely beautiful. Another mini-Dingle if you will...
