The Cliffs of Moher and around abouts!
Galway was a fine town when taken in, in the mornings. I had to make a pit stop at the post office to send off some more goods home, the duffelbag was getting heavier and heavier. We were headed towards Doolin. I cannot believe how much time we spent on the bus. Most pictures were taken in between toilet and photo stops. Our only proper stop was the 5000 year old portal tomb ‘Pol na Brone Dolmen’. The weather was lovely, all misty and green and all.
We stopped along the Bay for our lunch, non descript fish'n'chips and headed to the Cliffs of Moher.
This was a place I'd been meaning to visit from a long time, shame that it was so misty that day that one could hardly see it. And gosh, so crowded as well! I bet it's lovely on a sunny clear day, but there's only so much imagination one can do when it's so misty and nothing's discernible. And to me, it was just another CLIFF. I'd seen better in Scotland, thank you very much! :)
