yeah! here we are!
yeah, now we are in Zermatt! my cousin told me that they have an street-festival this evening, with a lot of food and to drink - this part of Switzerland is famous for its Raclette and Wine.
So we walked fast to my cousins hotel, left our luggage there and went back to the place near the railway station, where the festival is. there we met my cousin Tanja, her husband Beat and her 4 children Noah, Elin, Kim and Jana.
We were one of the first people, because the festival starts at 7pm. so we hadn't to wait a long time in a queue to get someting to eat. Fabian had 2 plates Raclette and i first chicken and then pasta...yummy!
we had a really good time with the family, when you around this 4 children, you turn back to a child yourself! ;-)
at about 9 the children had to go to bed, so they went home.
Fabian and i stayed, because we have seen a bar selling coctails on the street, yeah! THATS a good beginning for this weekend!
while it was warm enough we stayed outside always with a drink in the hand, fabian with his Gin tonig and i had my really weird Mojitos...they tasted really good..but this green color? i don't know where it came from! i just know afterwards i had a green tongue too....
unfortunately it was getting colder and colder - Zermatt is on 1600 meters above sea level, and it is getting very cold at night - so we started to search a bar where it is warmer...but there were almost all full, no space! finally we found a small one, called "Häxä-Bar" (witch bar). It is so cute, and everywhere are small witches flying around.
While drinking we thought about what to do the next day. we wanted to do a small hike, up one of the many mountains around Zermatt. we decided to make a hike from about 2 1/2 hours to the "Riffelalp" after breakfast. For the way back we had 3 possibilities depending on the weather and our fitness level. ;-)
At about 1 at night we went to the hotel. we were a bit drunk and i asked myself if it will be a good idea to get up at 9am in the morning....
