Driving from Trondheim, Norway to Sollefteå, Sweden to visit family and friends

Leaving Trondheim

As usual I`m driving "Dangerous Red"

Trondheim is the third largest city in Norway, and administrative centre of the county of Sør Trøndelag and the bishoprics of Nidaros. The city is situated at the outled of the river Nidelva in Trondheimsfjorden, and has a population of 162.000 inhabitants, where approx 25.000 are students. Trondheim celebrated its 1000 years anniversary in 1997, and the city has a long history as a economic centre in the north-atlantic region and religious centre since the middle age. Today, Trondheim is a modern city both economical and cultural, with rich natural resources, effective infrastructure, a centre for commerce and administration and an important science and research enviroment.

As usual I`m driving my little red car "Dangueros Red".  The distance Trondheim - Sollefteå is about 430 km, and I usualy use 6 houers for the drive.  To make the driving more pleasent I have a talking book in my CD player, and sometimes if the book is really good I wish the distance was longer.
