Leaving for Bari, Italy
We depart Athens on May 16th via overnight ferry, arriving in Bari, Italy on May 17th.  We have the whole day in Bari before taking yet another overnight ferry to Dubrovnik, Croatia...

We had a blast in Bari!  It was Bill`s first time in Italy and based on our experience, I dare say we will be returning soon...We had heard that Bari (in more southern Italy) doesn`t receive as many tourists as say Rome, Venice, etc....and based on the looks my blonde hair received, I would have to agree!  One guy even fell (literally) for me, lol.  ;)   (Bill chased him down, just kidding)

Speaking of falling, our small camera took a spill when it mysteriously fell from Bill`s pocket down 15 feet into a (thankfully dry) moat of Bari`s castle!!!  The castle-keeper had to retrieve it for us after searching through about 50 keys!!  We really did not think the camera would function properly but low and behold, no problems.  Big dent near the viewfinder, but even the back LCD screen works!!!  We are amazed!!  and for those of you who are wondering what kind of camera can withstand this abuse, it is a Casio Exilim Z750.  ;)    It is a good thing the camera functions without a problem or Bill would be in a huge doghouse....

All in all, I guess you could say we fell for Bari (or it fell for us??)....groan, I know.  :)
