We went and have breakfast to "la fonda de la calle real", in center of antigua, an old style, typical decoration type restaurant, guaranty you to have the best tastes of guatemalan cuisine, best dishes, and a hole variety of drink, and i have to mention, they also have the best coffee in the world,.
We also get to walk along Antigua Guatemala city, streets, me admiring again the nice buildings that sorrounds it, the trees, the parks, fountains, the volcanoes that sorround the city, creating an only image, church site seeing, we got to go in in a few church convents, see how marvelous, and colonial city must of been, my imagination trying to recreate a 1750 scene, in the long hallways, the large ballrooms, of the convent of La Merced church, how would people live in those centurys, when Antigua was called "Kingdom of Guatemala" had the power of govern all the countrys of central america, and being the 3 largest city in latinAmerica at that time, imagin the fancy women, wearing long dresses, the gentleman with hats, and long black suits, carriages, white horses pulling them thru the street full of history, which only Antigua holds in its treasures, over other LatinAmerican countries and the world.
