Copán, Honduras - Notre famille d`accueil à Copán

From Santa Rosa, we continued to Copan to check out the ruins. But to our unfortunate surprise, the visit was WAY to expensive! We weren´t expecting to have to pay so much for these ruins, so Arnaud decided to skip out on this one. Only I visited them, but at a reduced price! I passed off as a Central American and only ended up having to pay a third of the tourist price! Great! I know, I´m horrible, but hey the prices shouldn´t be ridiculous either!

The ruins were fascinating. Very different from the ones I´d seen up until now. There was a mystical feeling all about, and even at times a bit spooky. I guess I felt a bit uneasy because I was visiting the place, practically all alone, and on top of that, the sun was beginning to set. Luckily I didn´t fall down, while climbing the pyramids because who knows who would´ve come to rescue me then!

Apres 1 h de bus, nous voila aux ruines, tjrs la meme histoire, trouver un endroit pour dormir, porte a porte en 5 min c etait regle! Il fallait maintenant allez visiter les ruines, il fallait payer 15$ trop cher, donc juanny decida de devenir guatemaltec pour payer que 3$. Donc je n ai vu que les perroquets a l entree derriere la grille. Pas genial!
