Adventures in Guatemala - Flores, El Petén, Guatemala
Ready for yet another experience. Now in Guatemala, or as the locals say "Guate", and we can instantly feel the difference compared to Belize. The atmosphere is a bit more aggressive and chaotic, but nothing we can't handle!! We managed to cross the border hassle-free and even catch a ride to the island-town of Flores.
Compared to some of the towns we visited in Belize, Flores is amazingly beautiful. It's a cute island, that's not too big, so easy enough to get around on foot and get a great view of the Petén Itza Lake.

monte ca descend, tu vois le clocher, tu traverses le pont et puis c est bon!
